This question is weird. If you are in school, you get grants and loans to pay for it. For example, you get the PELL grant (free money) and a Stafford Loan (gotta pay it back). If you get a big grant or scholarship and loans and you have extra money for the semester, you will get money back. But people don’t usually get a grant that covers all of the semester’s tuition, so I would say that any money you get back would be a loan, and you should pay back the money to the loan, because of the interest on it.
