I want to take out a private student loan to buy a used car, so i can go to school. I’m thinking about borrowing 5,000 dollars. Which private student loan lender should I use?
Avoid anyone with a yahoo address that wants to give you a loan. A reputable lender is someone like Wachovia, Chase, Bank of America.

You need more a car loan than a student loan !
Try local bank/credit union.
If you go with a student loan, put regular transportation fees.
